STUDENTS have been learning the art of making chocolate.
Darlington College Pathways students, some with learning difficulties, finished term by producing professional chocolates for their families for Easter.
Darlington College tutor Paul Buxton said: "Pathways is an excellent way to ease people into further education.
"This group has been working on its catering skills since September and has made cakes, biscuits, soups and breads as they worked towards preparing a full meal.
"I thought having a go at chocolates would be a nice way to end the term as they can give them to their families as presents. The results were fantastic and you would swear they had come from a real shop."
Student Fiona Nichols said: "I have really enjoyed the course so far and have worked really hard. I was very pleased with how the chocolates came out as they looked very professional."
