DARLINGTON will raise a flag to the Armed Forces on Monday, June 22. To mark Armed Forces Day there will be a parade from the Town Hall to the Market Square before a ceremony led by military cadets, reservists and military associates. Darlington Borough Council is hosting the event in a bid to thank the town's servicemen and women, past and present, for their commitment and sacrifices. The event begins at 10.15am.
