The Skernedale Dog Training Club starts a new eight-week basic dog obedience training course for beginners on May 1.
It will include socialization with dogs and people and takes place at Hurworth Grange Community Centre, Croft Road, Hurworth, at 7pm.
The usual class for more advanced dogs will continue from 8pm and more details are available from Pam Emmerson on 01325 461536.
CAR SCRATCHED: Police are appealing for information after a car was vandalised whilst parked outside the Mind office, in Borough Road.
The car, a blue Ford Focus, received a long scratch on the bonnet, drivers’ side wing mirror and front door panel.
It happened between 11am and 5.10pm on Friday and witnessed the incident they should contact PC Jim Edwards on 101.
COUNCIL AGM: Hurworth Parish Council is holding its annual assembly and annual meeting at Hurworth Grange Community Centre, on May 1.
It starts at 7pm following a police and communities together meeting at 6.30pm.
