THE fourth annual meeting of Darlington Credit Union will be held on Thursday (April 3), in the Studio, at the Dolphin Centre. All are welcome.
Registration starts at 5.30pm, with a 6pm start.
The credit union helps vulnerable people and those with financial problems.
It has seen its membership soar to 4,000 from 600 just four years ago.
FIRST SUPPER: St James the Great Church is holding a meet and greet supper, to welcome Father Kenneth Crawford and his family, on Friday, April 11, at 7pm. There will also be a guitarist as entertainment. Tickets cost £7 each.
TRAIN RIDES: South Durham Model Engineers will be offering miniature steam and electric train rides, at Hurworth Grange, on Sunday (April 6), from 10am to 1pm.
CHURCH WEBSITE: St Cuthbert’s Church has launched a website giving details of upcoming events. The site is at stcuthbertsdarlington.btck.co.uk
