Darlington 0 Harrogate RA 0
Darlington were left frustrated as Harrogate Railway Athletic snatched a point with a battling display against one of the promotion favourites.
Harrogate came into the game having lost their previous three league games while Quakers had won their last three and, true to form, it was the hosts that began strongly and kept possession for lengthy periods.
However, they could not find a way past Harrogate keeper Peter Crook.
He parried an Andy Johnson shot while Stephen Thompson was unfortunate not to score with a shot on the turn that hit the post.
Railway rallied there was a major let off for Darlington when debutant Curtis Edwards gave the ball away and Harrogate attacked on the break but Josh Garbutt pulled his shot horribly wide.
