DARLINGTON'S latest bar opens on Thursday - and it is a family affair.
10 Crown Street, named after its address, is owned by Susan McGee, who will run the bar with her sister, Sara, and her two stepbrothers, John and David Wilson.
The Wilsons already run Hogan's Leisure, the Darlington-based group which owns Hogan's, in Victoria Road, the Boot and Shoe, in the Market Square, and the Grey Horse, on Haughton Green.
10 Crown Street was derelict when it was bought a year ago - it used to be a furniture shop.
"We offer something for everyone,"
said Ms McGee. "We're a coffee bar, a wine bar, a club, a pub. We have a stylish atmosphere and we do good food and good drink."
The two-floor bar has a two-time price policy, with prices increasing after 7pm.
A pint of Foster's, for example, is £1.95 before 7pm, and £2.50 after.
Food is served until 7pm from Monday to Saturday, and until 4pm on Sunday.
