MOVIE TALK: Adapting Success: the Secret of Adaptation, at Cafe Create, in Parkgate, from 7pm to 9pm. A workshop about why 70 per cent of all feature films are adapted from novels, short stories and biographies and the tricks to successfully adapting source material. WHO’S WHO: Who’s Next Special Quadrophenia Show at The Forum, in Borough Road, from 7.30pm. The Who tribute performing the rock opera Quadrophenia album in full, accompanied by new film footage between songs. Entry £7.

HAND STITCHED: Hand Stitched and Printed Textiles with Anna Cole at The Art Shop, in Bondgate. Drop in workshop and demonstration, with handmade items for sale. Sessions held 10.30am to 12.30pm and 1pm to 3pm. Entry is £1.50.

SCRAP STUFF: The Scrap Studio at the Green Fair in South Park, all day. Artists Yvonne Preston and Rosi Thornton demonstrate how to get creative and make art out of clean waste. A workshop for all ages.
