CHILDREN are invited to join a monthly creative writing group run at Crown Street Library, in Darlington. The group, for children aged seven to 11, is run on the first Monday of every month, from 4pm to 5pm. Themes of future sessions include limericks, going back in time and going on a journey. All are welcome. Admission is free.
MAYOR’S PLANS: Darlington mayor Paul Baldwin will attend the switch on of a wind turbine at the Acorn Dairy, in Archdeacon Newton, near Darlington, at 11am, on Tuesday (April 9). He will pose for official photographs for the mayoral gallery on Wednesday, at 10am.
