YOUNG PEOPLE: The next meeting of Darlington Borough Council’s children and young person’s scrutiny committee will take place at the town hall on Monday, March 4, at 4pm. Items on the agenda include the oral health of young people in the town, governance arrangements for academies and the interaction between ethnic groups and children’s services.
CAMCORDER CLUB: The Darlington Camcorder Club offers a syllabus of training in how to get the best out of a personal camcorder. The club meets each Thursday at the Methodist Chapel Hall on The Green, in Haughton, Darlington, at 7.30pm. Annual subscription is £25 but visitors can attend for £2. CLUB QUIZ: A Darlington FC fundraising quiz night will be held at the Bistro Bar, in the Dolphin Centre, Darlington, on Thursday, February 28, at 8pm. Entry is £1 per person and all fees are paid out in prize money.
