A CHARITY is giving a festive helping hand to shoppers by offering to wrap Christmas presents.
Volunteers from St Teresa’s Hospice, in Darlington, will be in Queen Street Shopping Centre tomorrow (Thursday, December 20), to wrap gifts in exchange for charity donations.
Nancy Spencer, a volunteer with the charity, said: “The wrapping service aims to make things a bit easier on everyone at such a busy time, and at the same time to help raise money for a great cause.
“People can bring along any presents they want wrapped, and let us take one thing off their to-do list.”
The wrapping service will be available from 4pm until 7pm on Thursday, between 4pm and 8pm on Friday, and from 10am until 3pm on Saturday.
