CLASSMATES have got together 60 years after they started school.
For the past ten years, old girls from the former Richmond High School have gathered to recap on their school days and catch up with each others' lives and families.
This year, 11 first formers from a class of 31 in 1946 met for a three-night reunion in the Lake District, seven of them with their husbands. The trip was organised by Marina Parker.
The school friends were Barbara Walton (nee Williams), Janet Plews, Phyllis Lane (nee Pattison), Winnie Delf (nee Lawson), Betty Donald (nee Marshall), Jean Shaw (nee Bailey), Ruth Brown (nee Leftley), Muriel Allan (nee Rutter), Anne Walton, Audrey Grundy (nee Bainbridge), and Marina Parker (nee Hunter).
