VILLAGERS hope their community will be a blaze of colour in the spring after planting dozens of bulbs.
The Sherburn Hill Environmental Action Group organised a planting session on Saturday morning that started and finished at the community centre, in Front Street.
Members of the group and other residents were invited to get digging to make the place more attractive.
It was the fourth year that the action group has organised a planting session to mark national Make a Difference Day, which is organised by Community Service Volunteers to attract more volunteers and help the community.
