A WEBSITE to help young people improve all aspects of their lifestyle has proved popular in its first few weeks.
The site - Help4Teens - has been created by young people's service Connexions County Durham, and includes advice for people aged from 13 to 19 on subjects including jobs, training, education and money.
Already, the site has recorded hundreds of hits from people across the region.
Young people were involved in creating the web pages, to ensure they were user-friendly. It includes features such as a virtual library, quizzes and polls, and youngsters can also directly contact their local Connexions advisor.
Ryan Foster, project manager at web designers Indigo, said: "By using focus groups we were able to understand young people's needs and likes and dislikes. They clearly communicated that they wanted to feel involved when using internet sites.
