BOLLYWOOD is the theme for a sparkling fireworks show to be held in Teesside.

This is the Year of World Class Culture in the UK, and Bonfire Night in Hartlepool is taking on an international theme from the East.

On Saturday, November 4, in Seaton Carew, the free event will start at 4pm, organised by Hartlepool Borough Council.

There will be children's rides and stalls next to the paddling pool and live music from a rhythm band performing next to the clock tower between 5.30pm and 6.30pm.

The fireworks display starts at 6.30pm, with the countdown to the first firework led by Councillor Carl Richardson, chairman of Hartlepool council.

To help reduce traffic congestion in Seaton Carew, shuttle buses will run from the Tesco car park in Burn Road, between 5.15pm and 6.15pm. They will return from Seaton Carew between 7pm and 7.30pm. Return fares are 90p for adults, 45p for children and £2.20 for a family ticket.
