A HOUSE was firebombed by two motorbike-riding arsonists in an attack on Monday night.

Police are appealing for information after the incident on an occupied house in Hemlington, Middlesbrough.

Just before 9.20pm an orange motorbike carrying two people drew up outside the house on Coverdale and a firebomb thrown at an external wall before the motorbike sped off.

The adult occupants in the house managed to extinguish the flames with no-one being hurt.

Soon after the incident two other cars, one which was possibly a blue Honda Civic, were seen to pass the address and police are appealing for anyone with information to get in touch.
