A 22-year-old man has died after being found in a house with serious head injuries, police said tonight.
He was found in a property in Greencroft Walk, Park End, Middlesbrough, in a critical condition and was rushed to the University Hospital of James Cook.
A spokeswoman for Cleveland Police said that he later died.
A 27-year-old local man who was arrested in connection with the incident remains in custody.
