ONE man has been arrested after an alleged robbery in Darlington this morning.
Two men are alleged to have punched a shopkeeper at W£ PAYCYCLE, on North Road, around 11.30am and held him at knifepoint before stealing £100 from the cash till. The two were both wearing black clothing, and spoke with eastern European accents, said witnesses.
They ran down Westbrooke Villas and potentially on to Station Road.
The shop keeper was not seriously injured.
