A FORMER British Airways computer expert has admitted three terrorism charges today.
Rajib Karim, 31, of Newcastle, denied several other similar charges.
But today at Woolwich Crown Court, in London, he pleaded guilty to being involved in the production and distribution of a video on behalf of the organisation Jammat-ul Mujahideen Bangladesh; funding associates in Yemen and transferring funds supplied to him for terrorist purposes; and offering himself for terrorist training or insurgent operations abroad and encouraging others to do the same.
The Bangladesh-born defendant will return to court tomorrow morning to stand trial on the remaining counts.
The hearing is scheduled to last approximately five weeks.
