AN elderly man had to be cut free from his car after it was involved in a three-vehicle accident on Thursday night.
The accident happened around 5.30pm on Dishforth Road, Sharrow, near Ripon, North Yorkshire.
A woman driver in another of the cars, which was also carrying two children, was taken to hospital as a precaution.
The occupant of the third vehicle was uninjured.
