My cat has lost her teeth and is now afraid to go near her food bowl therefore is not eating and losing weight. What can I do to help her eat again. Mary

You should take your cat to the vet as there is probably something wrong like tooth root fragments, gingivitis or an infection. Once these are treated she should start feeding again.
