My cat is constantly drinking water, also loss of appitite. It's always been a thin animal but I think weight loss as well. Is diabites possible? Sarah, UK

I would think that your cat is more likely to have problems with kidney function and being very thin I would also be making sure she did not have problems with an overactive thyroid gland. Take her to the vet and a blood test can be taken that should confirm or rule out these diseases.
