YOUNGSTERS in Bishop Auckland attended a theatre workshop designed to stop them causing drama later in life.
The children, aged between 13 and 16, took part in the session at Bishop Auckland College last Friday.
The group, led by Sergeant Mick Hutchinson, of Durham Police, took part in activities such as drama, photography, cartoons, graffiti art, rap and film.
The session was organised by the Smart Justice organisation, to give children something to do to keep them out of mischief.
Sgt Hutchinson praised the attitude of the youngsters, who worked with Alex Elliott and Jane Arnfield to produce a video of their drama production.
He said: "They have given up their summer holidays to try to give a positive image of young people."
