STAFF at an RAF base are taking youngsters on a mission to read more books.
Children aged four to 12 are signing up for a reading initiative at RAF Linton-on-Ouse.
Base staff are encouraging youngsters to read six books over the summer.
Staff at the Children's Corner are running code-cracking and puzzle-solving games. Everyone who completes the mission will become Reading Agents and receive a certificate.
The scheme is part of a nationwide summer reading challenge being run by the Reading Agency and libraries.
The scheme is held daily at Linton from 1pm to 3pm until August 24. To join, go to www.readingmission.org.uk
