COUPLES are being invited to say 'I do' again at a wedding fair later this month.
Stockton Borough Council is inviting four couples to renew their marriage vows as part of its annual Wedding Fayre at Preston Hall, Eaglescliffe, on Sunday, August 27 and Bank Holiday Monday, August 28.
Ceremonies will be held in a wedding marquee decorated with flowers and with music by the Pavilion String Quartet and David Bailey, of the Northumbrian Small Pipes.
Couples will receive a professional photograph and a bottle of champagne, and as a finale, each couple will be whisked away for a helicopter tour of the area.
Councillor David Coleman, Stockton council's deputy leader, said: "The renewal of vows ceremony is as individual as the couple arranging the celebration, and is created by the couple with the help of the registration celebrant."
To renew your marriage vows at the event, call Stockton Register Office on (01642) 527720 before Monday.
