SWEDEN’S Peter Hedblom shot 64 to take go one shot clear at the top of Castello Masters leaderboard after two rounds.
Scot Paul Lawrie and Spain’s Ricardo Gonzalez were joint leaders after 18 holes, having both matched Hedblom’s seven-under par score on Thursday.
But neither could break 70 yesterday. Hedblom is nine under overall, having signed for a first-round 69.
The Swede eagled the parfive eighth and also picked up shots on six other holes as well as dropping one on the ninth.
