A SERVICE celebrating the life of a teenager who died suddenly last weekend will be held later this month.
Camilla Jane Irvine, of Newton-le-Willows, near Bedale, North Yorkshire, died at a friend's home in Scorton, near Richmond, on September 25.
The 16-year-old, who was known to family and friends as Milla, was a student at Richmond School.
A private family funeral service will be followed by a service of celebration for her life at St Mary's Church, in Masham, on Tuesday, October 26, at 2pm.
Milla's family has asked that anyone attending the service dress in bright colours.
A personal announcement in Friday's edition of The Northern Echo read: "Beloved daughter of David and Wendy Irvine, much loved sister of George, a dearly loved granddaughter, niece, cousin and friend to many."
Friends should meet at the church before the service of celebration.
The family has asked for no flowers.
Inquiries can be made to Sanderson and Co funeral directors, in Leyburn, on 01969-623143.
