TWO women were taken to hospital last night after a collision between a car and a truck in County Durham.
The accident happened at Waskerley, near Consett, at 7.20pm.
A spokeswoman for Durham and Darlington Fire and Rescue said the collision took place outside Waskerley Kennels.
The two injured women were taken to the University Hospital of North Durham in Durham City by ambulance.
The extent of their injuries is not yet clear.
