VICKI LLOYD set up NEDay Crafts in May last year to spend more time with her children.
The business is based on her love of crafts, and hopes to encourage children to get creative by taking part in workshops.
She has already received orders from the US for her craft kits, and the business also offers corporate activities including making scrapbooks and tie-dyeing Tshirts.
Mrs Lloyd said of the business, which she plans to expand across the region: “It seems crafts are a dying art these days. I grew up watching Blue Peter, but there seems to be no time for things like that for children anymore.
“The business started as a hobby, but I now run mobile workshops and have the kits stocked in independent shops, craft fairs and markets.”
