PLANS for 35 artists' studios, galleries and business units will be unveiled on Tuesday.
Work on the £4.8m Creative Industries Centre in the Wood End museum, Scarborough, is due to start in July.
Scarborough Borough Council said the centre would provide some of the best office and workshop accommodation for members of the creative sector in the North.
Council leader Eileen Bosomworth said: "The creative industries sector is the biggest growth area in Scarborough and we want to be able to harness the talent and keep it in the town. The creation of a Creative Industries Centre, designed with first-time creative businesses in mind, in the Wood End building provides us with the ideal facility to do this."
The project is funded by the council, Yorkshire Forward and the European Regional Development Fund. Plans will be on display at Scarborough Art Gallery from 5.30pm to 7pm on Tuesday.
