Centre of attention is the game between South Shields and leaders Burnmoor.

They are the only undefeated teams in the league and Moors lead by four points after Shields had topped the table up to last weekend. Moors are without Ian Conn and Martin Thursfield, so Michael Callaghan and Stephen McDonald are called up.

Shields are still without captain Mike Fishwick and Lindsay Cullen leads the team. They have all-rounder Philip Bell returning and young spin bowler Kris McShane keeps his place.

Seaham Harbour will be attempting to claw back a recent 20 points deduction. After a series of promising displays the loss of the points was a setback, and they will hope to win at Marsden today.

Martin Cowie plays in place of Ryan James, who was injured while fielding last week. Marsden make just one change. Eddie Slater steps in to the vacant spot left by Graham Parker's absence.

Third-placed Whitburn will be striving to make ground on Burnmoor and South Shields when they visit Boldon. They have opening batsman Neil Ayre fit again and he returns to replace Elliott Markham.

A second player now has broken a thumb at Whitburn. A few weeks ago Paul Cook was injured and now wicket-keeper Ross Carty has the same problem. Eden Elstob plays today and Paul Shields will take over behind the stumps.

Opponents Boldon make three enforced changes, with Grant Forster, Nick Jones, and Chris Mackley. Forster will be the biggest miss after two 100s in his last three outings. Coming into the Boldon side will be Philip Randle, Byron Longstaff and Michael Forster.

Basement outfit Felling have Alan Bullock back for the fixture with Eppleton. Skipper Graham Anderson is absent for Eppleton and David Lowther takes charge.

Philadelphia professional Darren Izzard has been sidelined with a hand injury. The South African split the webbing while fielding last week. Des Beach returns to help the Bunker Hill team at South Hetton.

Horden, who have yet to win, are without Stephen McCoy for the game with Durham City. Paddy Dias and Subhan Christudas are in the City side with Philip Parker and Paul Lowe dropping out.

In the Foster's Northumberland and Tyneside Senior League, Annfield Plain hope to recover from last week's heavy defeat when they meet Leadgate.

They were surprisingly bowled out for 70 by Greenside and slipped to fourth bottom. Today, they are strengthened with the return of batsmen Graeme Carr and David Newstead who come in for Adam Phillips and Graeme Brinton. Leadgate are unchanged. A big boost to Tynedale's chances at basement side Ashington is the inclusion in a 12-man squad of captain Scott Kay after several weeks out through injury.

Greenside will be hoping for more of the same from former Durham County paceman Steve Lugsden when they host Swalwell. He claimed seven for 41 last Sunday.

Swalwell, challenging for the title, have Mark Rowell returning in place of Luke Glaister.

Following their superb performance defeating Swalwell in the League Cup on Wednesday, Lintz are buoyed for their fixture with Newcastle City. Stuart Clennell and Michael Christie are missing and are replaced by Richard Brewis and Kevin Johnson.

Leaders Sacriston are unchanged at Ponteland who bring in Karl Bevan and Andy Gray for Jim Ealey and Tommy Barr.
