A PUB named after the king of the jungle is set to roar again after a major revamp.
Richard and Tracy Stock run the Red Lion, at South Stainley, between Ripon and Harrogate, which is owned by pub company Punch Taverns.
The pub has reopened following a joint investment project totalling £350,000.
The couple, who have years of licensed trade experience, have taken on a lease agreement to relaunch the popular family-friendly venue in Ripon Road.
Mrs Stock said: ''The opportunity was too good for us to turn down because we know the potential of the Red Lion, having lived in the area for many years. We cater for all types of customers, from families to tourists."
The pub has undergone extensive internal and external refurbishment with a more open layout, a beer garden, an outdoor play area and a revamped play barn with parental supervision featuring a ball pool, slides and other games. It has a team of 15 kitchen and bar staff with Mr and Mrs Stock playing active roles.
Mandy Southall, business relationship manager for Punch Taverns, said: ''The investment project has breathed new life into the building.''
