THOUSANDS of flowers are brightening up a dales village for a weekend festival.
A parade of vintage tractors and a scarecrow competition are included in the Rookhope in Bloom festival, which takes place on Saturday and Sunday.
A dance with band Feel the Force starts in the village hall on Saturday at 7pm.
On Sunday, the Reverend Rob Brown conducts a Songs of Praise service in St John's Church from 3pm.
