Recorded in Rome with long term David Bowie collaborator Tony Visconti, this eschews the dolefulness of 2004's You Are The Quarry and replaces it with a life-affirming energy far removed from much of Morrissey's seminal work with The Smiths.
Still a charming man then, but also a much more contented one.
