PLACES for a popular playscheme are up for grabs.
Hartlepool Borough Council says registration packs for the Summer Playscheme will be available on Monday.
The programme will operate on weekdays, between Monday, July 31, and Friday, August 25, between 9.30am and 4pm. It is open to children from five to 11.
There are four venues, Stranton Learning Centre, in Southburn Terrace, Greatham Community Centre, in High Street, Greatham, Abbey Street Project, in The Headland, and Rossmere Youth Centre, in Rossmere Way.
Tracy Liveras, of Hartlepool council, said: "Once again, we have a wide programme of activities lined up. including visits to Hall Hill Farm, Hamsterley Forest, Nature's World.
For a registration pack or more information, call the play development team on (01429) 523429, 523471 or 523411. Registration packs are also available from the children's information service in the Central Library, York Road.
Children who took part last year will automatically be sent a registration pack to their home.
