SIX new magistrates have been sworn in at a North Yorkshire courthouse.
The magistrates have all been appointed to the Northallerton and Richmond Bench, which serves Hambleton and Richmondshire.
Chairman of the bench Rita Twiss conducted the swearing in of the magistrates at Northallerton Magistrates' Court.
Those sworn in were Rachel Diclemente, of Asenby, Thirsk, Neil Henderson, of Newsham, Richmond, Joan Jones, of Northallerton, Anthony Lacey, of Wass, Peter Molyneux, of Topcliffe and Joanne Senior, of Kirkbridge, Bedale.
