PLANNING permission has been granted to demolish a garage block and replace it with three townhouses in Darlington.
The borough council's planning committee yesterday permitted applicants Mr and Mrs C Stroud to demolish six garages and build three, three-storey homes in Fife Road.
A new garage at the rear of 29 Abbey Road, along with six car parking spaces, were also permitted.
An extra condition was included to link the pedestrian route to allow acces to all the new homes.
