DISCUSSIONOF VILLAGE HISTORY: THE history of the village of Longnewton will be the topic for discussion when Robin Daniels, from Tees Archaeology, attends the village's history group meeting next week.

LIBRARY TALK: Brotton Library Club will host an illustrated talk on the Tees Valley with Beth Addis, from the Tees Valley Wildlife Trust, on Wednesday, May 24. Doors open at 1pm for a 1.30pm start. Admission is free.

FLEA MARKET: The Saltburn Community and Arts Association will hold its next flea market and collectors fair on Saturday, in the Community Hall Centre, Saltburn, from 10am to 4pm. Admission is free.
