A VARIETY of new courses are being launched at Chilton Community College next week.

The adult learning centre, based in Chilton Primary School, off New South View, offers courses to everyone, which are free to those in receipt of certain benefits and other concessions.

New courses starting on Monday are Family Learning Spanish or French, from 5pm to 6pm. Both courses cost £7.50 for one adult and one child. A ten-week basic computer skills course runs from 10am to 11am, for £15.

On Tuesday, a ten-week "dancercise" class will be held from 10.30am to 11.30am.

Existing classes, which will resume with the launch of new ten-week courses, include French and Spanish at level two, both on Mondays, from 6pm to 8pm, £30, and line dancing on Tuesdays, from 9.30am to 10.30am, £15.

The centre is also planning to hold Spanish for beginners, basic computers and digital photography courses. Anyone interested is asked to contact the school on (01388) 720255, or Julia Rowcroft on (01388) 722317.
