A SEARCH is on to find the owner of a bag left in a shop with a large amount of cash inside.
Lost property officers are keen to reunite the bag with its owner, after it was left in Coopers Chemist, in Marske High Street, east Cleveland, on April 11.
The Clarks carrier bag contained several hundred pounds in cash, a black and white blouse bought a few days earlier at a local charity shop, a size 16 blouse from New Look, a gold-coloured tissue box and a pair of black furry gloves.
The cash was inside an envelope that had a number for a planning officer written on it.
Anyone with information is asked to call Redcar police property office on (01642) 302612.
