RESIDENTS are being asked to comment on improvements to the gateway to a market town.
Stockton Borough Council has teamed up with Yarm Town Council for the project at the Fishpond Roundabout in Yarm, where The Spital meets Worsall Road.
The proposal is being put on display in the reading room of Yarm Library from Tuesday, to Friday, May 19.
The proposed improvements include sculptural metalwork designed by artist Adrian Wood, who works from the forge, at Preston Hall Park.
Yarm Library is open Monday and Wednesday, from 10am to 5pm, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, from 10am to 7pm, and Saturday, from 10am to 12.30pm.
Stockton councillor Bob Cook, cabinet member for regeneration and transport, said: "We value all feedback from residents in the borough, which helps us to make the area a more pleasant place to live, and we look forward to people's comments on this proposed development for Yarm."
