TWO recruits have been appointed to key posts on Easington District Council's environmental services team.
Ian Hoult has been named environmental enforcement manager and Tony Perrins is the authority's environmental services manager.
Mr Hoult was formerly parking enforcement manager at Leeds City Council and parking and infrastructure manager at Newcastle City Council.
He has taken over responsibility for the council's environmental and street wardens and pest controllers.
His work will also involve tackling problems such as anti-social behaviour, littering, dog fouling, fly tipping and noise nuisance.
Mr Perrins was previously performance manager at South Kesteven District Council, in Lincolnshire.
He is now responsible for waste management and recycling at Easington Counci, as well as the authority's environmental services contact centre
