Darlington MP Alan Milburn is preparing to move his constituency office to new purpose-built premises on the outskirts of town.
Mr Milburn, who has worked from his current office in Victoria Road for the past 14 years, is relocating to a suite in the Beehive development at Lingfield Point.
The former health minister will operate from his new offices from May 8. The phone number will remain the same.
A spokeswoman for Mr Milburn said the move was designed to provide his constituents with better facilities.
She said: "The Beehive is lovely. It's really modern, purpose-built, specialist office accommodation.
"It means we will be able to have more meetings and continue our constituency business, but in better surroundings."
Mr Milburn will continue to hold surgeries at the office by appointment and around the town.
