A COUNTRY lane will be closed for several days from Wednesday, May 3, while Yorkshire Water completes a project begun last summer.
Contractors finished upgrading the sewer and outfall beneath the unclassified road between East View and Michary Lea, near Langthorne, Bedale, last year.
Work will now take place to resurface the road.
Yorkshire Water has donated £500 to Crakehall with Langthorne Parish Council.
Half will be spent on planting new trees and flowers in Langthorne, while the rest will help pay for a new parish noticeboard in Crakehall.
