PLANS are under way for a town's annual proms event.
Sedgefield Proms in the Park will be held in the grounds of Ceddesfeld Hall on Saturday, June 10, from 3.30pm to 11pm.
Music will be provided by Abingdon Junior Steel Band, Fishburn Brass Band, Mumbo Jumbo, the Doonan Family, Happy Cats, John Wrightson Band and other performers.
There will also be the traditional proms Rule Britannia finale, climaxed by a fireworks display over the lake in the hall's parkland.
Refreshments will also be available.
Tickets are on sale, priced £5, with free admission for under- fives, and must be bought in advance as audience numbers will be limited.
