PARENTS who want to find out more about environmentally-friendly nappies are invited to a drop-in session next week.
Darlington Borough Council is one of 430 local authorities across the country taking part in the tenth annual Real Nappy Week, which starts on Monday.
The initiative aims to highlight the financial and environmental benefits of using real nappies rather than disposables.
On Monday, Darlington-based business Ecoboo, which specialises in organic baby products, will be in the Cornmill Centre to offer advice and hand out samples of its award-winning eco-friendly nappies.
There will also be a prize draw with the chance to win a real nappy pack, while youngsters will be given badges and balloons.
Councillor Stephen Harker, the council's cabinet member for consumer and environmental services, said: "We are very glad to be supporting this worthwhile campaign again."
