Coats Crafts UK, which is based in Darlington, has appointed a marketing manager.
CLARE WATSON will join the senior management team and oversee a marketing team of 12, responsible for household knitting and crafts names such as Sylko, Drima, Anchor and Patons.
For the past three years, Ms Watson has run her own marketing consultancy in the North-East.
Peter Manns, commercial director of Coats Crafts UK, said: "Clare, we are convinced, is the right person to push the business forward. Innovation of both product and distribution channel are keys to future sustained growth."
