BIG Brother winner Anthony Hutton was taken to hospital after being beaten up on a night out.
The 24-year-old reality television star was partying at Manchester's trendy Baby Grand nightclub in the early hours of Sunday morning when the brawl broke out.
He was treated for cuts and bruises on his face at the Manchester Royal Infirmary and later discharged.
Police said a man had been arrested on suspicion of assault and bailed pending further enquiries.
Anthony, from Consett, County Durham, won £50,000 last summer after the British public voted him their favourite contestant in the 2005 Big Brother house.
His most notorious moments from the Channel 4 show were his friendship with clingy gay hairdresser Craig Coates and his swimming pool liaison with Makosi Musambasi.
Since leaving the house, the former Seventies-style nightclub dancer has released a keep-fit DVD and appeared in panto in Darlington.
Last night, a spokeswoman for Greater Manchester Police said officers had been called to Peter Street, in the city centre, following reports of an assault.
She said: ''Officers went to Baby Grand at about 4.10am where a 24-year-old man was found with minor facial injuries.
''He was taken to Manchester Royal Infirmary for treatment and was subsequently discharged.
''A 25-year-old man from Higher Poynton was arrested at the scene on suspicion of Section 47 assault.
''He has been bailed until May 7, pending further enquiries.''
