PLANS for more developments in one of Darlington's parks are to go before councillors on Wednesday.
The application is to extend an old potting shed at South Park to provide a training and workshop centre.
The building is in the south-east corner of the park and would be used by the council's social services adult learning difficulties team.
The proposal has been supported by Darlington Association on Disability which said it represents "a good example of understanding the basic needs of people with disabilities".
No objections have been received and planning officers are recommending that the scheme is approved.
South Park is undergoing a £3.9m revamp, supported by a Heritage Lottery Fund grant, with the project due to be completed later this year.
