A former president of the National Farmers' Union's aim to create 11 work units on his farm have been backed by planners.
Sir Ben Gill wants to convert existing farm buildings into 11 work spaces at Hawkhills Estate, Easingwold, creating up to 48 jobs.
Hambleton District Council planning officer Tim Wood has recommended approval.
He said: "The scheme offers an opportunity to provide new office work space largely by the conversion of traditional agricultural buildings."
Similar plans for 16 work spaces and a gym were withdrawn in October after planners recommended refusal. Councillors will consider the proposals on Thursday.
