YOUNGSTERS got their hands dirty as they helped transform an area of wilderness near their school.
Children from Wolviston Primary School joined forces with Tees Valley Wildlife Trust to plant a hedgerow at Wolviston Wildlife Area, near Billingham. Jonathan Pounder, project officer at the trust, said: "It is great that local children can get involved. They will be able to grow up and appreciate the work they have undertaken."
